Re: so what equipment are we using then
Great to hear about your equipment.
My list of radios is quite long but here goes, Icom IC-E92 D-Star with GPS mic, IC-E7 handy, IC-E2820 D-Star and the IC-706Mk2G with separation kit.
I have a Yaesu 817ND for SOTA with 12a and 7a SLAB and the SP2070 beam.
I have a Watson W-300 High Gain VHF / UHF vertical and a 19 Element Tona Beam. I do have a Wire Antenna around the garden in a horizontal loop but it's only 60ft long so I use CQ100 at home for HF.
In the car I have a Yaesu FTM-10E with Bluetooth and must say its great for the mobile operation.
I have a homemade G5RV for portable use and a 120a batery for backup in the shack if the power goes...
I also still have some work in the shack to do but with cost and time its on hold. Andy M3ZMO is making his atic into a shack. Maybe take a look at some photos of it on his website. www.freewebs.com/m3zmo
I have a Watson 25 Power Mite NF with another smaller one, a LDG AT-200 Pro ATU and some other bits.

Nice Equipment indeed. Not so much time here at the moment as a lot of radios to review before the Christmas time. Favourite bands here are also 20m and 10m

Re: so what equipment are we using then
Homebase.
Yaesu FT857D, SEM & Nevada manual ATU's, A long wire in the loft fed by a magnetic transformer & a Diamond CP6.
A FDK 2 meter rig, A Yaesu Ft690II, AKD 7001 & Diamond tri band co linear. Plus an old Summerkamp 40 channel & 10 watt 2 meter radio & an American 2 meter radio whose name I cannot remember, but that's still on 10 watts also.
Handhelds... Yaesu VX-7R, Pye PX on 4 meters, an ex St Jon Ambulance PMR yet to be converted. A VHF & a UHF Puxing.
Mobile. FT1802 & 5/8 whip.
Plus mobile whips for 6, 10, 20 & 80 & a micro dual band whip.
Special event. Trio ??? HF only, 9:1 Balun, Diamond SWR meter, portable 20 foot mast, Grid dip meter & frequency counter to meet licence requirement, gas soldering iron, several extra power supplies, this allows me to go out & not have to dismantle my shack.
QRP portable. FT817, 2.5 watt linear power supply if needed, 2 X portable battery packs. QRP ATU, Miracle whip & ATX walkabout, Cody Kite.
The above is what I can remember that I have & does not include things like a 6 meter linear & ATU, all of my HF ATU's or things like my old Yaesu Valve FTDX401 which will run at about 150 - 200 watts when I finally get it going, or the radios I have that are on loan from Gilwell Park for use at a local Scout group.

Re: so what equipment are we using then
Nearly forgot...I have a Ham Int Concorde I think it is, plus I have a couple of old 27/81 40 channel CB's that I got for free from Freecycle.
Re: so what equipment are we using then
Nice one Alan, I think that Freecycle is great.
I have spent an hour solering 6 resistors on my T1 ATU and am hoping to do some more this week...
We shall see lol

Re: so what equipment are we using then
Other Freecycle radio related finds include.....
I picked up a couple of old analogue satellite TV receivers for someone to convert to Amateur TV RX's, so others can start in the hobby.
I have two really good folding tables that I use for special events & other such events.
I have an old Windows 98 PC that I intend loading with a PSK31 programme & a SSTV programme, so I can show these at special events.
