To whom it may concern.
The below items are being offered for sale to raise funds to help purchase new equipment for the society.
Sealed bids for any of the below equipment must be made to the secretary Andy Morgan GD1MIP before 20:00 hours GMT, Wednesday 25th July 2012.
All bids should be on a plain sheet of paper in a sealed envelope marked
‘Secretary IOMARS. Bid 25/07/2012’
The bid must include:-
1. Bidders name, address and telephone number.
2. Item description and lot number.
3. Price you are willing to pay.
All bids will be opened after 20:00 hours on the 25th July 2012 at the Foxdale shack in front of those present, and at least three committee members. Any person may bid for one or more items.
Cash on collection. A realistic reserve has been set for each item.
To ensure the bidding is fair to all the reserve prices will not be made public until after deadline.
NB the Rigpix links are provided only to show the typical specification of the below items. The society cannot guarantee each radio matches the specification completely. Buyers must satisfy themselves as to each items condition and specification before purchasing.

Lot 1
KW 2000 HF transceiver and power supply unit 10-160 meters
1960’s HF transceiver.
Condition; Unit appears complete. But it has not been used in at least three years. The cases are in a very good condition given their age.
NB the radio was gifted from an SK estate. The PSU fuse holders do not contain fuses. The unit will require appraisal before they are replaced. Given its age no guarantee can be given and it has to be considered as ‘for spares or restoration / repairs’. No box or documentation.

Lot 2
KW 600 Linear amplifier 80/40/20/15/10 meters
1960’s linear amplifier to match the KW2000 range.
Condition; Unit appears complete and has been used in the last few months. Its case shows wear and tear to the paint finish. Given its age no guarantee can be given and it has to be considered as ‘for spares or restoration / repairs’. No box or documentation.

Yaesu FT726R VHF / UHF transceiver 6/2 meters 70cm
1980’s transceiver covering 50 / 144 and 430 Mhz at 10 watts SSB CW & FM, with hand microphone.
Condition; Unit appears complete and has been used in the last few months. Its case shows minor wear. Given its age no guarantee can be given, buyers must satisfy themselves as to it’s condition before purchasing. No box or documentation.

Approximately 3 years old, boxed. 100 watts and is complete with hand microphone and documentation.

Kenwood TS440S HF transceiver 160m – 10m inc WARC bands
Late 1980’s / early 1990’s transceiver covering the HF band, 100 watts with hand microphone.
Condition; Unit appears complete and has been used in the last few months. Its case shows wear and tear consistent with use. Given its age no guarantee can be given, buyers must satisfy themselves as to it’s condition before purchasing. No box or documentation.

Yaesu FL2100B HF linear amplifier 80m – 10 m
1970’s HF amplifier.
Condition; Unit appears complete but has not been used in recent years. Its case is in good order. It has been suggested that the transformer has a fault causing the unit to blow fuses. This has not been tested.
Given its age no guarantee can be given and it has to be considered as ‘for spares or restoration / repairs’. No box or documentation.
