GB1RL Special Event Station
GB1RL Special Event Station
The special event is primarily to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone at the Liver Building in Liverpool, but it's also Capital of Culture, so why not celebrate that too. It's being run by WADARC, the Wirral and District Amateur Radio Club.
We will be operating on the 10th of May between 0600 and 1800 local time, and on the 11th May between 0600 and 1600 local time.
We are hoping to operate all bands and all modes. Good luck to you all at WADARC.

Re: GB1RL Special Event Station
Well I made another contact today with Simon 2E0VNB who was operating the V/UHF side of the Special Event Station today. They were giving me a smashing signal 9+ into my mobile station in Deeside.
Does this mean I get two QSL cards?
