Anyone else using the radio this Saturday? 1st March 2008

I will be on the radio this Saturday 1st March. Not too sure at the moment where or what bands as I am awaiting the G5RV and LDG AT-200 Pro to arrive so if they come by Saturday I will be on every band somewhere. If not then it will be 20m 2m and 70cm.

Might be going over to Colwyn Bay so keep a listen out for me. I will be out from 13 ish and will be staying out until 22.00 ish.

Ok the LDG AT-200 ATU and G5RV came today so I will set that up where ever I end up.

Will be listening here, sadly the wind speeds here mean the normal antennas are down so just a wire along the fence but tunes up well so maybe hear you all there in the afternoon

Ok Great stuff Simon, Hope to catch you on the bands. I won't be setup until 13.00 ish but staying on till late thru the night. Going to start on 17m and give that band a good go as there is no contest allowed...

The winds this side were strong in the night and just started to get up again today...

The day was not too good. By the time I found a spot for the G5RV to go up and moving the radio from one part of the car to another it was 16.00. I only made afew contacts so a little sad. Visit the website for more info. I did make a contact into Canada so that was pleasing.
