Maxon CM70

Today comes the Maxon to the QTH for some tests, whats new? Totally flat fronted radio and many controls for channel, volume etc on the mike. More news later.

Interesting video and radio Simon. Not too sure about it, would be better with a freq display cos I would forget what all the bands were for!!! Black and White is how I like it. Great to see the touch buttons on a CB though!

Takes some getting used to Dave but on the whole it actually works very well indeed. Freq.Counter sure is also a nice idea but adds to the cost of course.

Works well on 10m simplex and has the automatic squelch that also helps, but maybe the plus side is that you can control so much of it from the mike, volume, asc, backlight, memory channels and the like so that makes it dead handy pirat
