i have a president george that looks as new there are two wires off the echo/mic unit will rx/tx but very low sound is there anybody out there that can fix it for me i am in macclesfield cheshire please help

Hello & welcome to the site ste00.
If I understand your question correctly you have two loose wires on the microphone cable.
Normally this would be the end that connects to the radio, so I will see if I can find a wiring diagram for that end.
The job sounds a simple one & one that anyone semi competent with a soldering iron should be up to doing. If you do not know anyone then visit some where local to you that fixes domestic appliances or preferably a radio dealer, be that amateur CB, scanner what ever.

the wires are on a block inside the radio there are seven wires coming from it i need a pic of the inside of another george to trace were to solder it back anybody got a george and dont mind taking the lid off that would be a big help steve macclesfield
