Re: Pressie Harry III ASC and Harry III Classic
Mine is ordered so now need to wait. Radio has similar idea to the others from the "past range" and note now these radios all share a musical idea or inspiration:
Allegro
Fortissimo
Andante
When will they have the "blow your own trumpet edition" hmmm

Re: Pressie Harry III ASC and Harry III Classic
Looks tidy enough - vol/squelch control looks a bit fiddly, but much more info on the display than my Harry II.
I would have thought by now, improved receiver technology would have made a manual RF gain control a thing of the past.
Cheers

Thought the same, but the Johnny III is not so hard to use, works well indeed. Now, need wait for these to arrive. First hundred pieces will come air-freight and then the rest another 8 weeks later by sea. Oh man, now comes the waiting time. And about the export features a small bird tells me low, mid, hi the same as the old Harry and the radio is of course a Johnny III with FM added so not a lot of need for the export really as the multi-norms cover most of it.
And the bleep for the buttons is on off too

Re: Pressie Harry III ASC and Harry III Classic
Indeed a button to turn the beeps off - I wonder if they'd take my Harry II in part exchange (some hope ).
Looking forward to seeing how it performs.

Re: Pressie Harry III ASC and Harry III Classic
excellent cb radio nl
Our friend Thijs now has the information here, and it maybe a little not correct. Export mode can be a,b,c only 26515-27855 as remember the old Harries are the same and this is the same name and all new goodies inside it can be the same export channeling with the different bleep like the Johnny III for the signify a, b or c. So as President are reproducing the radios with the same name, then sure it will be just 120ch export same as the orignals were
ALL CHANGED, wow Thijs is super quick also

Hi Thijs, thanks the message. Seems the new series of radios share the same name, and Johnny III released with 120ch export so guess the Harries will be the same as the tradition is. I sit now waiting them to land on the door sometime soon

Re: Pressie Harry III ASC and Harry III Classic
Hi Guys, well President will have these on general release in November as only small small quantities were shipped by air, so the release date will be NOVEMBER
But..................
Markus @Neuner.de has searched, spoken and acquired a radio to be here tomorrow. There are many people to thank for this, NOT President but two other people but by act of death am not allowed to name them now...........
You tube can be tomorrow late or friday, depends on the courier and the 425km round trip to collect it from my side.

Re: Pressie Harry III ASC and Harry III Classic
Now the radio has once more the pyramid idea of the banding
A: Mid
B: Hi
C: Lo
And not the standard, A, B and C lo, mid and hi
Mine was at hans today, has the export mod done with the switch, bigger audio with more bass and some tuning with the s-meter and rx as it showed 7 when should read 9. Otherwise, top banana indeed.
