Do 11m op's home brew / adapt more than amateur radio op's?
A friend of mine commented to me that often these days, 11 Meter operators are the ones who home brew and adapt their radio gear more than amateurs as it is the only way they can get the stuff to work on 11Meters by adapting it.
A lot of the amateur radio operators seem to buy the latest biggest rigs and gear and boast about it.
Where as we have to adapt a lot of our gear to get it to work on 11 !
What are your thought’s on this ?

Nothing needs to be done to a radio to get it to perform on 20 Meters and prop. is hot nearly all the time on some amateur bands as well.
