Here are a few pics of my setup. I have mounted the Galaxy on a block of wood and added 2 fans on the back heat-sync and also 2 fans in the wood cooling the linear on the bottom of the radio...
This keeps the radio cool even on Super Sundays!!!
Only downside- They can be noisy!!!

Nice set up Dave, was wondering what that mic looked like
The only thing is , now the Mrs has no bread board to make up your butties for when u go mobile lol
The audio on the Galaxy sounds nice and punchy from my side when I hear u m8.

Yes that's the one... Great mic as good as the teardrop. The only two complaints is it has not got a tone control and not as comfy as the teardrop... Bring back the Teardrop please Astatic!!

hi guys realy nice radios had mine about 6 months now the only thing is the needle is lazy !!
but its realy one of the best ive had ..just a pain at times when someone needs a radio report lol
