Still a few problms to sort out radio wise
Still a few problms to sort out radio wise
Patch leads as stated in another thread arrived and simply dont work at all.
Wrong connection was sent out for the EQ box and I have a problem with the power cable to the PSU from the FT857D, it keeps on cutting in and out for some reason.
So a bit annoying that I only had a day off yesterday to fix everything up and things didnt go to plan.
I am away working in Glasgow from Monday so wont be on the radio AGAIN grrrrrrrrrr
Should be QRV again by next week sometime fellas.

Re: Still a few problms to sort out radio wise
Will soon have it all sorted out m8, but I am working away in Glasgow next week, so wont be able to do anything un til I return home again.
Just lack of time at the moment stopping me from getting back on the air.
I am missing not having a rig as I have had tje Ranger getting properly fixed.
I did manage a couple of QSO's on MID BAND FM, so the PSU is working fine.
The graphic eq box will take a bit of setting up as you have to go into the box and adjust some parts, all laid out in the manual.
But the advert said nothing about it having to be adjusted from the inside, it just looked like a simple plug and plag box.
So again, I have to leave the gear until such times as I have a good few hours off work and am at home to sort it out.
Cheers for asking.
