Hi everyone,

Just thought I would start a thread about DMR Digital Mobile Radio.

We have just had a repeater put up on Hope Mountain GB7HM and I have been trying it out. I had a play with D-Star and originally when it first came out I bought 3 radios and tried to set a repeater up.

The difference with DMR is you have two time slots on the repeater taking up 6.25 each which means you can have 2 users using the repeater at the same time. One time slot can be connected to a network and the other time slot can be connected to another network or stay local.

I will go into it a little more at another time. Has anyone tried it?

Dave
