Intek H-520 Preformance.....Surprisingly good!
I have owned my H-520 for a couple of weeks now.
It works really well, better than expected to be honest. The receiver is particularly good. The signal to noise ratio, on FM, is noticealbly better than my Lincoln and my 148 GTL DX.
Another surprise, was the efficiency of the supplied antenna.
Not heard anything on 10 Metres yet....Time will tell.
I would recommend this radio to anyone who is looking for a compact 10/11M AM FM handheld.
Cheers,
Ian

Re: Intek H-520 Preformance.....Surprisingly good!
Hi Ian,
If I remember correctly Simon / Mick may have one of the Intek H-520 radios and they look pretty smart. When I was on the CB I used to own the Midland 75 and with the car kit it was quite a nice radio to use.
Thanks for your comments,

I have one and they really are great bits of kit, i did the mod on mine to which is really simple and opens it right up but yet to hear anything special on the extra frequencies.
