Uniden Pro 620
Another addition to the family. A 'new' Uniden Pro 620. This one is from 1994 i think and was won on ebay for £46. It's never been used and is absolutely mint.

Re: Uniden Pro 620
Hello Simon. Should be able to hear you in a few weeks. Mid band is pretty dead here except for some truckers on AM or us locals, but that will all change as the e season kicks off. I've tried finding some info on the radio but can't really find anything or any mods for that matter.

Re: Uniden Pro 620
Indeed there are not many mods, sole ones that i know are the piggy back for the 80channels. Power, Audio and the like there are none that can tell you sadly

Re: Uniden Pro 620
No probs Simon. I didn't think there was much you could do with them. Not to worry i'll keep it standard. Thanks for info

Re: Uniden Pro 620
Hi, i am new to this forum, joined cos of the uniden pro 620,
i have "piggy backed" a tc9119p from an old audioline, the vdd (+ve) pin is pin 3 on the fitted pll and pin one on the tc9119p an pin 2 on the 9119 has to go to pin 1 on the fitted pll, however, i got the radio to receive fine on al uk 40 channels but no luck on tx, i think the tc9119p is "looking for" 27mhz on the f in pin, not 13mhz as the fitted pll, am not full sure on this tho!
i got it to tx at some random frequency,, 29 mhz or so, but no lock, i tapped off 27mhz from the tx stage and fed to the f in pin and no joy,now it doesnt work on uk at all!
worth a try i guess!
any info apreciated!
thanx
Dan
