icom mic's

i need abit of help with an icom mic. i have got a mobilite mic made by linear amp uk ltd model LA-MI for my icom 706 and i would like to use it on my icom 2800h. also the 2800h mic is a dtmf mic which i would like to use on the 706. some of the connections are the same but as you can see below some are not.


ICOM 706
pin 1 - +8vdc
pin 2 - freq up/down -
pin 3 - AF o/p -
pin 4 - PTT
pin 5 - GND (mic gnd) -
pin 6 - MIC i/p -
pin 7 - GND -
pin 8 - squelch -

ICOM 2800H

pin 1 - +8vdc
pin 2 - freq up/down
pin 3 - control i/p
pin 4 - PTT
pin 5 - MIC GND
pin 6 - MIC o/p
pin 7 - GND
pin 8 - N/C

as you can see pins 1,2,4,5,7 are the same but pins 3,6,8 are different.
any idea's?
