Repeater Frequency's Empty Re: Repeater Frequency's

Post by Panteneman Fri Oct 05, 2007 8:43 pm

Greetings Dave,

Google GB3MN, and GB3MP.

These are 2m repeaters that serve our general area. There is a site somewhere with coverage maps, but I don't have it to hand as I am at work. The bookmarks are on my PC at home.

A really cool one is GB3PZ, that has Echolink (Internet voice relay) and can link to anywhere in the world. Real interesting stuff. Echolink is explained on a post on the TM1 site somewhere.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all your help!
I am like a blind man with the handheld at the mo. Not even sure how to log on and all the settings for it so will have to google it.

Hope to learn something when I sit the M3.

Kevin has sent a link with the maps so maybe that's what your thinking about?

We have a load of links here that are echo link nodes, nearest is DB0EL and thats at the Munich tower, has an awesome coverage and often worked the UK, Thailand via the node.

DB0ZU is the highest at some 3000m+ above the ground as you imagine the performance is incredible

DB0ARB is another high one

OE7XRJ is over 3300m asl in Austria and that can really be heard all over the southern part of bavaria and is always quite loud and can be accessed from my balcony with 1w and tone burst, the distance being 130km
