Blackpool Rally Empty Blackpool Rally

The Blackpool Rally - the NARSA Rally - takes place on Sunday 16th March, Norbreck Castle Exhibition Centre, Blackpool.

This will be the 46th rally organised by NARSA, an association of over 40 clubs from the North West. Run by Amateurs for Amateurs.

Doors Open at 11:00AM.

All the usual trade stands, club stands, RSGB book stand, Bring and Buy, Construction competition etc.

traveled up with dave simon and rich.we managed to get a parking space in a side street next to the hotel.a large room and the ballroom with full of stalls.i know dave and i where abit disapointed.prices where no cheaper then the internet.i got a 2m/70cm mobile aerial,a power mite psu,2 pulleys for the g5,an earthing rod and a few bananna plugs.met a few radio friends .back to the car for a bru and to put a new rj45 on dave's mic lead.

Well like Andy said it was a little disappointed as I thought there would be things a lot cheaper. I wanted to buy a Handheld and some sort of mast but the only thing I came away with is 50 meters of PVC coated wire to make a better G5RV.

I did want a swag mast but they only sold them in packs of 4 and I wanted 6 so I will have a look in the local DIY store.

dave i will dig out that catologue from my local tv aerial maker ,they have them but i think they are about 1.5" and have a button to lock them into each other.
