I will be active in the Wigan area from 07.00 ish. Once we have setup and had a cup of coffee it should be 07.30.

I will have mid band FM if I dont have my FT857D back from repair in time.
Have had a qso with a couple of local TM's on the mid band and worked German on just the rig power 4 watts !

But should have my F857D back in the next few days.

It was quite a good day on the band. It was nice to make contact to the TM members and chairman! Made contact to 29, 68, 328, 329, 109, 161 and some other countries. It was a nice day all round.

Thanks everyone who we spoke to and it was nice making the contact with most of the members from the forum.

The G5RV works amazingly well on EUFM

I know where that place is, some good spots you dont think about as you expect to be on top of a hill with a car park or flat ground you can drive up on to.

Is that the Sirio 4 element beam or other make ?

I have managed to work Germany on 4 watts on EU FM though its not bad for a bit of EU DX. Have worked Croatia on it, on wuite a few more than 4 watts lol
