43div Heard Today

Hello All,

Heard 43RC005 today, he was only 5/1 to me and it looked as if he was making good contacts much further north than Corsica.

It was funny really because I listened to him working 2 very good radio friends of mine from N.Ireland, Joe 68OD002 & Robbie 68DT555 and he was giving them reports of anything between 5/7 and 5/9 !!!!!

Now I must wait patiently for the pacific propagation to take a more southerly path, but at least it was great to hear 43 division again , so I think that things are slowly but surely improving on 11m.

Great stuff. Hope it is in for the Super Sunday. Would be cool working 43. Even more so as I will be on Kevin's beam...

Looking forward to it. Still 2 weeks for it to build so fingers crossed...

Nice going Roy, still not got the radio gear up and running will probably have to wait until Thursday or Friday now sometime to schedule a day off to set everything up.

What time GMT did you hear 43 division Roy ?

He was booming here also, and today was 5/7 here for a good few minutes and the time in GMT was 10.00-11.15

All loking good fellas, these are great times for me as well to use that extra bit of TX power, when I dont have any neighbours to worry about. They all have proper jobs to go too lol

What aerial do you use Roy, I can't remember, and can't check the back of your QSL coz its stuck on my wall lol

43TR299 was heard here Saturday 5/5 for around 1 hour

Hi simon worked Jamaica 23wc212 and 3tdt001 from the car on saturday and from the qth worked 109ha182 and 178et102 along with 13 div 14 div 1div
But the best was hearing 12 div very low but 2/5 well done 43div ....
