Anybody needing a realy small/short qrp or digital HF dipole have a look at this link, I have built the 30m version which worked well indoors on digital modes and I am now rebuilding it for the 20m band with the coils on FG to take a bit more heat.
Sorry not a link as the system wont let me as I am a new member of less than 7 days? so google

I use a MFJ mini loop tuner (MFJ 933) This works on 20 meters with a loop of just 13 feet for 20 meters & even with the loop laying horizontal I have had fair results with QRP. With a vertical loop the results are good for what it is.

Edited to add. Southgate has an excellent small loop antenna that is very cheap to make & fair in performance & which will work blue tacked to an indoor wall.

Hi Daxi, yes the loop I made realy suprised me to say the least, it was made from a selection of plans off the internet and the loop itself was quite large made out of the heavy lashing kit multistranded binding cable running through a from what I remember a small and tidy type 61 toroid at the top for the TX ring and a very large and long plate variable capacitor out of a box of junk that eneded up here after a semi local operator went silent key, the whole thing was mounted on a huge wooden cross but every time it was mooved it had to be retuned so it never ended up outside up on the wall brackets, the thought of having to go up and down the ladders every time was frightning and the remote tuner (electric screwdriver) plans were a bit to much for me. I was very supprised how good it did work like yours flat against a wall, Eastern European stations and Russia etc were strong and clear, the KGD dipole is not as strong on RX indoors but will be an easier option to mount outside.
PS, on your post it says only admin are allowed to see this link.

Phil
