The Southport & District Amateur Radio Club will, once again, be on the air to support Lancashire Day. Despite Lancashire Day being on the 27th November, the club will be celebrating a day earlier on the 26th as this is the best day to get a venue and all the participants together.
Nonetheless, the Southport Club will be celebrating in style with a special event station operating under the callsign GB5LB, a Lancashire Hot Pot lunch for all those attending at around 13:00 and a toast to the Queen, the Duke of Lancaster, read out over the air at 15:00.
