Is this the same VC group from the 1980's as have a few of the VC qsl's from that time period ?

Yep is the same group and also the group behind the activation from Chad 175VC/DX

Nice to know an old group is still active, have qsl's from Moldova and Asiatic Russia (1984) from Victor Golf group, good operators and nice QSL cards.
