Hi everybody,i just joined the site.a bit uncertain about how this posting thing works so here we go!.i have just bought a cybernet delta off ebay.i was interested to know if anyone was active at all on the band.i am not building and erecting antenna farms if the band is completley dead!.i am prepared to go portable on a local hill will omni and small beam antenna's for any pre-arranged skeds anytime! hope to here from anyone./ps/anyone got a 934 rig they wish to sell? regards,Peter.

Reftec radio here with a colinear and this summer spoke with Guernsey on channel 17. Always same man, same station each summer

hi simon007.thanks,well ok,at least there are still oporaters in the channel isles.i presume from your comment that you monitor the band.to the other guy who left the comment about it is just for mobile phones now,thanks but i know.as far as i can tell there is no mobile phone use on there any more.they have all moved to 1800 mhz.just another excuse to disallow a band they gave us after people had paid a fortune for the radio's!!.
we see what happens..i will call this and every sunday on channel 20 at 2.00pm-3.00pm from a 600ft hill and i will beam north and south at 5 minute intervals...Peter

we are a couple of 934mhz users here in blackpool,nothing fancy,we use cybernet delta 1s with just a colinear,mainly just to chat to each other and get away from the more crowded bands.we can be left in peace up here,no one else on thisband,we call it our own private frequency...markie832@hotmail.com
