Marches Amateur Radio Society

The MARS Club was founded in May 2009 by local enthusiasts who required a choice of activities to cover varied interests at each club meeting.

The meetings are held on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 1900 to 2200 at Black Park Miners Institute, enabling members to continue or to join other clubs.

The club encourage all radio enthusiasts, licensed or not, to join us and all members’ comments, ideas and view points to be put forward and we propose to act on as many of these as possible, if not all.

The club aim to be an active club with numerous activities and events at each club meetings. We always welcome new ideas for discussions,

Each member is asked to pay an annual fee of £5.00. Plus £2.00 each meeting.

We do have refreshments - drinks are free. Snacks available at various prices.Marchers Amateur Radio Society (MARS) Logo10

The club often use GB3UO to communicate. The repeater is located 2 miles outside Wrexham in the hills.
