GPS Jamming exercise.

GPS Jamming exercise.
I'll put this here for anyone interested in APRS who has not heard.
I'm not a APRS user, but it looks to me like it could have a impact on any system such as APRS that uses GPS.
This was taken off Southgate ARC's site.
UK GPS users may find that their satellite navigation systems are
disrupted, or may not work at all during certain days in
November/December, as the Ministry of Defence carry out a jamming
exercise.
The aim of the GPS blocking exercises is to find out how interference could affect military personnel.
The MoD has informed Ofcom of the following GPS jamming exercise:
Dates: 30 November to 4 December 2009.
Times: Up to two one-hour slots per day between 10:00hrs and 16:00hrs.

Re: GPS Jamming exercise.
Great another reason for me to use up valuable time telling the VHF set why timing is lost.
Oh well, I get paid loads for it and get to play with radios aswell.
