I have just brought a MFJ 207 HF SWR analyser from fleabay for just under £50, it's in immaculate condition & look to do what I want & at half of the price of a new one.

I can now check my SWR outside of amateur bands & see if I need to lower or raise the frequency, to bring it low where I want it.
I can band sweep for SWR quickly, even if not very accurately.
It is also going to be useful when I get the FTDX401 working again as I can set ATU before I tune the valves.
