Simon, I see you are running Windows 7 (7100). How do you find it?

My IE is always crashing, even after the updates have ran after installation?

Firefox runs OK in it though.

Any thoughts Simon/anyone?

Hi Tim,
Yep am running Windows 7 on the notebook and its working real well I have to say. Must say that it runs quicker than vista, seems to be smoother and also eats a lot less energy and battery than vista.
SP2 released last week has made a difference inside Vsta but it is still not really that excellent.

W7 will also be more compatible with XP too, and the devices wizard on 7 is excellent, after installing it it searched out all the devices that was on the notebook, card reader, wlan, bluetooth and all where with vista you needed all the cd's before it worked. So, at the moment it is going really in the right way. Last snipped, i installed old xp radio odds and ends and they worked, where vista they killed them off

Regards

Simon

Now running the last version. It is now signed off for manufacture and so need wait now till October 22 and then add the real one over the top of this Betta version. Works with all the old XP stuff that Vista did not see so that has to be something better than the last one.
